Monday we headed to see our favorite doctor, Cathy Wood, aka Mac's other grandmother, for his one month check. I was dying to know how much he weighed because everyone said they could tell he had grown a lot. Well from week one to week 4 he jumped from 7 lb 9 oz to 9 lb 7 oz. Needless to say, he has grown. He was 22 inches long too. So he has gotten taller as well. At this appointment he had to get his foot pricked and get one shot. I braced myself for the foot prick. I took out my phone to take a video of the action to send to my sisters and the lady pricked his foot, he let out the most pitiful whimper and that was it. Same thing with the shot. I had just imagined this horrible scream like he let out in the hospital during the 1st foot prick, but it didn't happen. Wade claims it was because of his pep talk that he gave Mac. The child next door was freaking out during his whole appointment and Wade was holding Mac saying “now don’t get any ideas, don’t you think you need to out-scream the kid next door, you need to take this like a man” haha. It was so funny.
The rest of this week we plan to lay low because we have a big weekend. Julie, Jeremiah and Mary Frances are coming to town and we are heading to the lake. I love being with them and I don’t want to waste a minute of time so I am ready to go-go-go! I hope Mary Frances likes Mac. She is quite the character, but I know once Mac gets older they will be the best of friends! I cant wait to dress them alike! They are just going to be adorable!!! I might already have them two matching outfits…but don’t tell Auntie Jewels!
Here are some pictures. I haven't uploaded his one month photo-shoot yet so I will add those later. I am also adding two of Mary Frances that are just adorable. She started school last week. Also Uncle Clint graduated and I have a picture of him on his big day!
