Party Time!

We just got home from a wonderful 10 days at the beach! The week went by WAY too fast! I was sad to leave! While we were there we helped Mac celebrate turning ONE! Well Mac isn’t officially one yet, but we went ahead and celebrated while we had a lot of family in FL. His party went off without a hitch. I put a lot of effort into the party and it was just like I wanted it. As you can tell it was ocean themed. I hung his banner using fishing lures on a fishing net. I thought it turned out cute! All of the food was also ocean themed. We had Shrimp and Green Noodles, aka, Shrimp in Algae, my Aunt Laura’s salad, aka, Seaweed Salad, Breadsticks aka Fish Food, Cheese sandwiches, aka Sushi Sandwiches and PB and J’s aka PB and Jellyfish Sandwiches and Coconut Sprite Drink aka Ocean water. For desert I made cupcakes and we had ice cream served in mini beach pales. My cousin, Ginger Anne made his smash cake and I thought it looked wonderful! I felt so bad that she put all that effort into it and it was smashed. I think people ate it once Mac finished so at least people could enjoy it! I made all the paper products you see in the pictures on a machine I purchased. All of the colored sailboats were drawn by Wade. He is so talented! I hope you enjoy the pictures!
