Wade and I were really excited when we were give NC tickets this year for Christmas from my parents! I had been really looking forward to the game when.....the stomach bug took over! Mac got it Thursday night, Wade got it Friday night/Saturday and I picked it up Sunday. To say I was very upset thinking I wasn't going to get to go, would be an understatement....Well, I sent Wade and his brother Clint on their way and then around 2 AM on Monday morning I drove down to Ocean Springs, met up with Wade and Clint, and we headed into New Orleans for the big game! It was an amazing experience. I am SO glad that I was able to go and it was even sweeter since Alabama brought home the 14th title for the school!
We had awesome seats. They were row 31 in the lower level. Perfect. Not to high, not too low.
Of course we had to get some Cafe du Monde before the game. Since I wasn't feeling 100% myself I couldn't eat them all, but thats ok!
I was trying to get the scoreboard near the end of the game. You can see that most of the LSU fans had already started leaving.
After the game with 2 of Wades brothers.

View from our seats!
It was awesome! Once in a lifetime experience for me (I went to Pasadena but didn't go to the game) and I have no idea if/when Alabama will be back. But it was amazing and I am SO glad we went!
ps. BEST decision we made. If you notice Clint, Wade and I were NOT dressed in any teams colors. We made friends with everyone because no one knew who we were for. It made for an easy exit after the game. ha! The LSU fans were nice to us and we just said "Roll Tide" to the Alabama fans we passed.
