1/3 of the way and almost 2!

Today marks the beginning of my second trimester with Baby McClendon! I will find out if it is a he or a she in just 2 1/2 weeks at a 15 week ultrasound! I am very excited and hopefully the baby will cooperate! Time seems like it is going SO SLOW these days so I am thinking these three weeks will probably go by super slow too! That's ok though!

I have started planning Mac's 2nd birthday party while I wait...We are going to do another family party down at the beach, and then just have some of Wades family over on his actual birthday back in Montgomery. I am going to do a "friends" party when he is 3...I was going to do one this year, but decided I thought three would be a good year to start that! As you might recall...last years theme was simply "ocean/beach" type stuff. This year I am getting a little more specific. It will be themed "The Very Hungry Little Caterpillar." I have found some great ideas online, and found some great items already! I think it is going to turn out great, but I have a lot of work to do with my little paper cutter in the way of labels, cupcake topers, etc! That is really why I am starting so "early." I dont want to run out of time! Should be fun!
