My Southern Boy!

 

 

I love that one of Mac's "traits" is being SO southern! He has the cutest accent. A lot of words are verrrrryyy drawn out for him. One of my favorite things he says is,  Bye Yawwlll! He is also very polite and will say "please, thank you, no ma'am, yes ma'am, etc) He also just says the funniest things in general. He gets that from his father who is randomly saying stuff that makes no sense to the average person. I guess our family has a lot of inside jokes because no one would get these.

Some of those that just crack me up are (which a lot of these won't seem funny, but it's how and in the context he says them that are hilarious):
Cupcake Paaataayyy
GINA!
That's YUCK!!!!!
My Nikes make me run FAST!
My jordans make me jump high!
No poo poo in there (referring to a wet diaper)
WHAT DID YOU EAT? (referring to another type of diaper....)
I want keeeemmm (cream)
Pancakesssss with syrup!!!! (don't forge the syrup or you are in trouble)
Rollllll Tide!
War Eagle Boo!
War Eagle Yuck! (We had to teach him the Boo and Yuck since certain family members try to fill his head with horrible things)

He is also becoming so sweet! He will look at me and say "you are pretty, or you are beautiful" which just melts my heart! And hearing him say that he loves us, and saying his prayers at night just makes me want to freeze time! Now, he has his moments, don't get me wrong. He is 2... Wade and I are learning VERY quickly that being the "fun parents" doesn't always pay off...He is super sweet and super fun, but he also knows how to "work us" Poor Wiley isn't going to have it as easy as Mac did. Wade nor I have that strict parent stuff inside us, but we do know we can do better at time. Time will tell I guess!
