Hard to believe that Clary Elizabeth is already a month old! This month has flown and we have had a blast being a family of 5! Clary Elizabeth is already a little traveler like her mama! In her short month she has traveled to the lake, Birmingham, Atlanta, and Olive Branch (Memphis) twice! Last weekend we did our first family road trip (besides the lake) and it couldn't have gone better. The boys did great and she did amazing as well! So glad she is such a good little traveler!
She is still sleeping 4-6 hours at night and is a really good baby overall. She has her moments, but overall she is very very good!
She had her 1 month dr appointment yesterday and she weighed 10lb 8oz and Dr. Wood said that even though it was only an oz bigger than birth weight that because she was so big at birth (and then lost a lot of weight) that she was healthy! She did not care for the foot prick or her shot, but I blame that on having her foot pricked for 3 days in the hospital. I am convinced she thought she was going to be pricked every 3 hours like she was at birth! :)
Wiley will be 2 this month! I cannot believe it! He is getting to big! He is so verbal, like Mac was, and very opinionated. He does not like not getting his way (I mean, who does??) He is so sweet and just loves being a big brother. He is always coming up to the baby saying "Cla-we E-biff" And giving her kisses.
Mac is still a little joy as always. He also loves his sister and is always telling me that he is protecting her. Mac is a little sponge and you cannot get anything past him. He is very well behaved and is always telling me how he is a "little gentleman" and he really is!
Wade and I haven't had time to slow down. I am studying for the 3rd (of 4) test of the CPA exam. Let me tell you...it is very hard to study with three rug-rats but I am doing my best! Also, we are working on developing a neighborhood. Yes, you read that right....my mom and I have a little business that started off as a little investment house deal, and it has morphed into residential developers! The neighborhood is in Pike Road, AL and is about 1/10th of a mile from the new elementary and middle school the town is building. We have 20 lots available. Each one is between 1 and 1.37 acres. We are hoping these will appeal to people who want a little space between them and their neighbors since most of the other Pike Road neighborhoods seem to have houses on top of each other. The plan is to have a gated entrance and to make it a pretty nice neighborhood. We are working on all the covenants now. We will be listing the lots with a Realtor soon and hoping they will sell quickly! If you want info though, let me know!
