Baby Shower and House Hunting

So yesterday was a fun and busy day. We had our home inspection. Everything went very well except the guy couldn’t figure out how to turn the A/C on…needless to say I was not happy that he wrote that it didn’t function property and needed to be checked by a licensed tech. Wade called him to tell him how to work it, but he had already left and wrote in the report that the owner had called and it sounded reasonable but he would still suggest getting someone to check it. UGH. I was furious!

Also, I had my first baby shower. It was hosted by my mom’s friends and they were all so generous to Baby Mac. I got some great items like a video monitor, high chair, and toys and clothes galore. Mom and Gee Gee (my grandmother) gave me my baby bedding which I was very excited about as well. By the time I had opened all the gifts I was exhausted! It was a great party and I am very thankful for everything! I left my camera so I’ll have to get some pictures from mom’s and put them up.

After the party, we went and looked at a few houses. I liked one a lot, but Wade didn’t care for it, so we crossed it off the list. We are really having a hard time finding things we both like. I think as the days go on, we are going to have to get less picky!

After house hunting we went to mom and dad’s (our soon to be home) so I could show Wade the amazing gifts we got. He was amazed when he walked in and saw everything. I think he had more fun playing with the stuff than Baby Mac is going too! Ha.

This weekend we have a party tonight, and then hopefully will be doing NOTHING tomorrow. We might go up to the lake for the day. We will see. Oh, and I started going to the doctor every 2 weeks now. This is getting so close its scary! Everything has looked good at my appointments so hopefully it will continue to stay the same!
