I guess I didn't realize how much stuff a baby would need! (I should probably say, or that I would want for him) I have started my shopping, along with Julie and my mom, and Baby Mac already has 50 outfits (until today...) Today, we went to the Children's Clothing Exchange and got probably 50 more. But what I realized is, while that seems like a lot, its not near all I will need (or want)!! Some of the stuff I got was 3, 4, 5T and so he wont need that for a WHILE. I don't really have that many of his first years outfits, so I will be buying more as the time goes on! Here is his closet last night before all the stuff I got today. You see we already have started a pile of diapers, on top and on the floor of the closet...I know I don't have near enough of those either...yet....
Yesterday Julie and I went to register at Storkland. That wore me out! You have to handwrite everything you want, along with the color and price because they don't have a "scanner" like other places. It was fun at first, but by the end I sat in a glider and had Julie bring me things she thought I would want. And, for certain things like clothes, burp clothes, etc I just wrote "ANY" because I did not feel like hand picking things like that. I figured if it comes from Storkland it is probably nice so I don't care what it looks like...Anyway, this week has been fun! We still have more shopping to do this week and I cant wait!!
