Is your bag packed, nursery ready.....

This is my answer to some questions I have been hearing lately.

Is your hospital bag packed?
Is your nursery finished?
Do you have your camera and charger ready to go?
Are you finished with you contact list post baby arrival?

No, No, No, and No!

Besides people asking me these (and many more questions) I keep reading these “lists” or what to do before the baby comes. Well, I have done nothing…not that I don’t want to, I just haven’t had the time or energy. Moving also put a dent in things (such as locating items and finishing decorating rooms) I kinda feel like a bad parent or something for being so unprepared...I just have had a lot on my mind and I know that when the baby comes everything will fall into place (even if we have to make a pit stop to buy a camera on the way to the hospital! ha)


I am not prepared at all for this baby, but that doesn't mean I don't want him to come on into the world!

I went to a different doctor last week and based on my measurements he is suggesting that we induce a little early based on the size of the baby. Like I said earlier, my doctor is out of town and I am not sure how he is going to feel about that when he returns. Rumor has it, he doesn’t induce 1st time mothers (aka me) so it will be interesting to see what he has to say about doctor #2’s suggestion. I kinda like doc 2’s suggestion, but I think its because I am so anxious, uncomfortable and just ready to meet my little boy! Not too much longer either way!
