Changing table and appointment

Today was my 1 hour glucose test. I wont get the results until a few days, I am assuming, so until then, I am going to keep praying I passed! Other than that, my doctors appointment was pretty normal. He said I was under the average for weight gain which was VERY good news to me, considering I feel like a beached whale ever year during tax season since there is no time to get out and do any sort of activity. Blood pressure was perfect, so I am feeling good! My mom went with me and was able to hear the heartbeat. It was in the 130’s which she said was good. I guess all the sugar from that glucola made the baby hyper because she said he kept “running away” from her while she was trying to get the heartbeat. She said that was indicative on how the baby was going to act outside the womb (aka wild child) She has 2 boys and hers must be wild…ha.

This weekend Wade took on another one of my projects. I have been waiting on this one for quite some time, but decided to get this show on the road. I have a piece of furniture that was in my room growing up that has a very rustic look to it, so I wanted my changing table that mom had purchased to match. So, we ventured to the Home Depot to pick up some paint and sand paper and made that our project for Sunday. He also “ruffed up” a window that someone gave us to use, that we are going to turn into a mirror in the room. I took some before, during and almost finished pictures of the table, and an after of the window. Now, before you judge, mom got this thing for 20 bucks and knew Wade could “do something” with it. She did not think this was pretty or anything…You will see what I mean by the original owners paint choices…I did not get a picture of the table after the final paint was put on, or of everything together once we took it upstairs, but it looks much better in person than the picture shows, and it still needs hardware, so its not completely finished. Also, the pictures were taken in the garage so the lighting is somewhat lacking...But here ya go...

We are almost finished with the Nursery (minus the bedding and Wall art) and I cant wait to have it all complete!!!!
