Just call it California Closets by Wade!

I gave Wade a sketch of a closet design I wanted for in the baby's room. Being the O-So-Crafty husband he is, he got right to work. First we had to empty the closet....That was quite the task. If you remember this post about all of Baby Mac's clothes, you will just get the smallest of looks into what all was actually in that closet. The amount of stuff has probably tripled since that picture was taken. Not just clothes, but diapers, and just other "stuff." After we emptied the closet this is what our upstairs looked like....

This shows some of the diapers we have. I am dreading tonight when I have to count how many we have in each size. I am really trying to stay on top of things (probably because this is my first) but I have been really good with keeping a spreadsheet of all the clothes I have purchased and putting them in size order using my dividers and how much they costs (for resale purposes) So I am going to do the same with the diapers. Not keep up with the price, but how many we have in each size so for Baby #2 I'll hopefully have a better idea of how many of each size I'll need!

This is the hall with all the piles of clothes, and some more diapers....I took this while Wade was using the air compressor and Bear looks a little terrified. I'll just say he is probably just scared of the new baby and all the attention he will get (and Bear will not get)

Here is the "what in the world was the builder thinking" area. We have all his gliders, swings, and some other randoms here right now. I guess the little area does come in handy...

And last but not least, here is the "progress" on the system. It is not finished or I would put a picture of that obviously. But you can still get an idea of what is going on. The closet is tall inside so thats why the thing Wade is building looks like it wont fit. It will. You just have to get it up into the closet. The bottom right side will have 4 drawers and then the rest of it will all be shelves. Hopefully he will finish soon and I can post the finished product!
